I absolutely do not recommend going here for your wisdom teeth removal. I didn't respond well to the numbing techniques they used for the surgery, but the surgeon dismissed my concerns and proceeded without pausing to consider what I was saying. The support staff weren't any better, as they left me alone for most of the led-up to the surgery and barely bothered to check on me when there was a problem with the heartbeat monitor. Once the surgery was complete, the office didn't bother to schedule a follow-up. A few days after the surgery, I called to report some pain since I was worried about a dry socket. The individual I spoke to over the phone dismissed my concerns and told me that my pain was normal. When I called back a few days later and insisted on seeing the surgeon for a follow-up, it turns out I did have a dry socket that required treatment. Likewise, I wasn't given a cleaning syringe until my follow-up, during which the surgeon scolded me for not using it, until I managed to explain that I was never given one. I had a horrible experience here, and the staff at this office should be ashamed of themselves. AVOID.

I highly recommend Dr Delgado and team (with a special shout out to Christina and Tiffany) at this location. I had an oral surgery procedure that ended up having some complications during recovery, but the way they handled it was incredible. They were responsive, thorough, and clearly dedicated to making sure I was okay. They addressed the issue promptly and stayed with me until everything was fully resolved. It is rare to find a surgeon who is not only technically skilled but also so genuinely caring when you’re going through a tough time. I felt supported and in the best hands possible throughout the entire process. Please do not think twice about Capital District Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons you will be in great hands!!!

Getting my 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed was my biggest fear for YEARS. Dr Delgado and his entire team were knowledgeable, helpful and supportive from the consultation to the date of my surgery as well as afterwards curing recovery! I would recommend this office to anyone who is apprehensive or afraid of getting their wisdom teeth removed! My surgery was easy, quick and I didn’t feel much pain in my recovery period!

I had an especially traumatic experience in a dental chair 30 yrs ago, making it nearly impossible for me to even walk into a dental office without shaking and crying, since. I'm so thankful to have found this office, where the entire staff listened to my fears, patiently talked me through them, and successfully extracted/grafted my tooth (iv sedation). I couldn't believe how calm I was, going back for my re-check appointment, and I actually look forward to completing the implant process.

I recently had a tooth extracted by Dr. Delgado and his team, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care I received. From start to finish, everyone made me feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Delgado was incredibly professional and calming — he explained everything clearly before the procedure and made the actual extraction quick and nearly painless. Anna, who assisted during the removal, was so kind and attentive, helping me stay relaxed throughout. Kimberly at the front desk was also wonderful — friendly, organized, and made the check-in and follow-up process easy and stress-free. Dental procedures can be intimidating, but this team made it a smooth, reassuring experience. I truly felt like I was in the best hands. Thank you all for your exceptional care!
